Bush Restoration

Ngaio Role ID: 8902

Come and join our enthusiastic volunteers in restoring the natural beauty of Trelissick Park/Ngaio Gorge and contribute to our part of Sanctuary to Sea project, Te Araroa walk and the Northern Walkway. New volunteers are needed at our bi-monthly working bees on a Sunday and Wednesday afternoon; finishing with afternoon tea.

If Sunday and Wednesday don't suit, or if you have a favourite part of the Park that you wish to care for, we can get you set-up with an Adopt-a-Spot site. This scheme encourages people to adopt their own spot in the park to look after, at any time convenient to them, rather than working in with the working bee schedule.

The Park has entrances from Ngaio, Crofton Downs, Wadestown and Kaiwharawhara, and is popular with walkers, runners and dog walkers.
