Where it all began…

Based in Wellington’s CBD, Volunteer Wellington has been recruiting and referring volunteers for not-for-profit member organisations since 1992. To keep up with the demand for volunteers from our community member organisations, Volunteer Porirua opened as a branch of Volunteer Wellington in 2001 and Volunteer Hutt in 2002. Volunteer Wellington now has over 350 member organisations over the 3 offices and thousands of volunteers have found interesting and engaging volunteer roles with these organisations.
