Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley is committed to ensuring that everyone in Aotearoa has access to justice and real legal equality, regardless of financial circumstances. Assisting Volunteers play an essential supporting role in making free legal advice sessions run with quality and care.

This volunteer opportunity involves participating in client interviews under the supervision of qualified lawyers, taking clear and accurate notes, researching relevant statutes and resources, drafting letters or task lists for clients, and completing administrative tasks. Applicants must have completed all compulsory 200-level law papers (or equivalent). Sessions are held fortnightly.
