Funders

We are extremely grateful for our funders' support. They help us to cover the costs to run Volunteer Wellington, and add capability and resilience to our services and those we serve. We would not be able to run many of our programs and workshops if it weren't for our supporters.

In the 2025 / 2026 financial year, we’ve received funding from the following grant making organisations. We have in-kind supporters, business donors, and individual donors we could not do this without as well.

  • ANZ Staff Foundation
  • Christine Taylor Foundation
  • DIA - COGS & Lotteries
  • DIA - CVC Volunteering
  • Four Winds Foundation
  • Jack Jeffs Charitable Trust
  • Nikau Foundation
  • Hato Hone St Johns - Youth Impact Programme support
  • Lion Foundation
  • Tai Shan Foundation
  • Volunteering New Zealand
  • Wellington City Council
  • Wellington Community Fund
  • Zeal Wellington - Youth Volunteer Expo

Partners

When it comes to serving our community, our collaborators really matter. Our partners go far beyond the list below, but these are the long serving partnerships we wanted to highlight.

  • We partner with the Community Comms Collective to bring communications professional development to the community three times a year
  • We partner with Community Law Wellington to bring six webinars a year to the community sector, to make sure we're staying up to date on the most recent law changes that might affect us
  • We work closely with the Kitea Impact Programme at Te Herenga Waka | Victoria University to make sure students and staff know how to get involved in their community
