Lower Hutt Women's Centre offers a wide range of courses, workshops, drop-in sessions, and support groups for women, children, and teens across Lower Hutt. As a women-only service, it provides a safe and welcoming environment where women can build self-esteem, assertiveness, and parenting skills in a space designed specifically for their needs.

This volunteer opportunity involves joining the Board and contributing your skills and experience to the governance and strategic direction of the Centre. The commitment is approximately five to ten hours per month, including monthly Board meetings, and the organisation welcomes people with skills across finance, HR, communications, community engagement, and other areas.
