Newlands Resilience Group, operated by Aotearoa Community Resilience Network (ACoRN), is building a community in Newlands, Paparangi, and Woodridge that is prepared, connected, and supported to face any challenge. Strong governance and a capable operations team are the foundation of this work.

This volunteer opportunity is open to residents of the area who can fill one of several specialist Board or Operations Team positions, including Chair, Secretary, Community Resilience Specialist, Disaster Resilience Specialist, Funding and Finance Specialist, HR Specialist, Legal Specialist, or Evaluation and Improvement Specialist. The maximum time commitment is three hours per week.

• Residence in Newlands, Paparangi, or Woodridge
