Trelissick Park Group is a volunteer group working with Wellington City Council to restore the Kaiwharawhara Stream valley and Trelissick Park into a thriving, self-sustaining native forest ecosystem. Hands-on bush restoration work is at the heart of what the group does every week.

This volunteer opportunity involves joining regular restoration sessions at Trelissick Park, with tasks including weeding, planting native species, and bush maintenance to help native plants and wildlife thrive. Sessions run on weekday and weekend mornings, with times posted on the group's Facebook page.
