Lower Hutt Community Foodbank provides free emergency food parcels to families and individuals across Hutt City who are experiencing food hardship. Timely, compassionate delivery of food parcels to people in need is an essential part of ensuring no one in the community goes hungry.

This volunteer opportunity involves being available on call to conduct contactless deliveries of food parcels to people in self-isolation across Lower Hutt. A van is provided by the organisation, and volunteers need to be flexible and responsive when called upon.

What you'll bring:
• A current, full NZ driver's licence
• Flexibility to be available and respond on call
• Ability to navigate delivery locations across Lower Hutt

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Reliable, responsive, and compassionate
• Comfortable making contactless deliveries independently
• Motivated by directly helping people during vulnerable times

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
