Porirua Green Bike Trust was formed in 2002 to provide free or low-cost recycled bikes to residents of Porirua, promoting sustainable and affordable transport and helping build a city of cyclists. Skilled volunteers who can repair and restore preloved bikes are at the heart of this mission.

This volunteer opportunity involves repairing and painting donated bikes at the Green Bikes workshop in Porirua, making them roadworthy and ready to be given a second life. Shifts are on Fridays from 10am to 3pm.
