SuperGrans Charitable Trust supports families to build the practical skills and confidence they need to manage their household and thrive independently. Through the Skills2Live and Whānau Connect programmes, mentors provide warm, consistent support that leads to lasting change.

This volunteer opportunity involves being matched with a family in the Upper Hutt area and visiting regularly to share practical knowledge in areas such as home management, cooking, budgeting, and positive parenting. Volunteers work at the family's own pace, building a genuine mentoring relationship over time.

What you'll bring:
• Life experience and practical homemaking or parenting skills
• Genuine empathy and a non-judgmental approach
• Reliability and a long-term commitment to a family

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Patient, warm, and motivated by empowering others
• A consistent mentor who supports change gradually and respectfully
• Comfortable working with families from diverse backgrounds

Training Provided: Full induction and ongoing support provided by SuperGrans.
