DeafBlind Association of NZ Charitable Trust is a national organisation that partners with deafblind New Zealanders to support opportunities for connection, inclusion, and self-determination. For people living with dual sensory impairment, opportunities to gather, connect, and simply have fun are both rare and deeply meaningful.

This volunteer opportunity involves supporting quarterly network meet-up groups in Wellington and Lower Hutt, where deafblind people come together to chat, connect, and enjoy social time. Sessions run for two to three hours every three months, and volunteers should have an interest in supporting meaningful inclusion and be willing to adapt to the communication and support needs of group members.
