The Free Store is Wellington's community food redistribution service, and behind every successful day is a clean kitchen ready for the next service. Dishes Volunteers are the essential behind-the-scenes team that keeps the operation hygienic and running smoothly.

This volunteer opportunity involves washing and drying dishes, containers, and mugs from the day's food service at The Free Store on Willis Street, Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm, and helping with the end-of-shift clean and tidy. Everything needed is supplied. Volunteers need to be comfortable being on their feet for one to two hours.

What you'll bring:
• Ability to be on your feet for one to two hours
• Reliability for the 5pm to 6pm Monday-Friday slot
• Thoroughness and care in maintaining kitchen hygiene

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Happy to contribute in a practical, behind-the-scenes way
• Consistent and punctual for the evening slot
• Motivated by being part of Wellington's food rescue community

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
