Electrify the Capital is a major public expo at TSB Arena on Saturday 17 October, helping Wellington households and businesses discover practical ways to electrify, reduce energy costs and create a more resilient future. We want the Expo to be welcoming and enjoyable for the whole family. We're looking for a Family Fun Zone Coordinator to help create and run activities that will keep younger visitors interested and entertained while their parents explore the Expo.

What's Involved
Before the Expo, you'll help develop a programme of simple, engaging and age-appropriate activities, organise the materials and equipment required, and help recruit and brief volunteers to run them. On Expo day, you'll coordinate the Family Fun Zone team, keep activities running smoothly, monitor supplies and help maintain a welcoming and safe environment. There's plenty of scope to bring your own ideas and creativity to the role.

What you'll bring
You'll enjoy working with children and families and be organised, practical and enthusiastic. Experience in teaching, childcare, youth activities, community events or similar areas would be useful, but isn't essential.
