Have a creative mind, a sense of fun and an interest in working with youth? Join GirlGuiding in your local community and develop your own skills while helping rangatahi build confidence through fun, adventure and friendship.

You’ll attend and help lead a local GirlGuiding group’s weekly meetings during school terms, and plan the term’s programme with young people and other leaders. You’ll encourage young people to try new things and take on challenges, helping them recognise what they’re capable of.

What you’ll bring:

• Enjoy working with young people
• Encouragement and enthusiasm
• A willingness to learn

You might be a great fit if you are:

• Reliable and able to attend weekly during school terms
• Good at working with others
• Not an experienced leader. You don’t need to be, as being reliable and working well with others matters more than arriving with particular skills.

Training Provided: You’ll begin as a Trainee Leader, with leadership training, mentoring and First Aid training provided. You must be 18 or over and complete Police vetting.
