BGI Challenge for Change (Wellington Boys' and Girls' Institute) stands with rangatahi to build thriving communities, and their kitchen is at the heart of this mahi. Food is a connector, and the BGI kitchen brings people together through shared purpose, zero-waste values, and the spirit of manaakitanga.

This volunteer opportunity involves coordinating volunteers, supporting the flow of mahi in the garden and kitchen, upholding the organisation's values of manaakitanga, sustainability, and zero waste, and contributing to food security networks. The Kitchen Coordinator also helps lead creative, accessible cooking classes for the community, with a commitment of approximately 10 hours per week expected.

What you'll bring:
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment (preferred)
• Volunteer coordination or supervisory experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with food safety practices
