Makara Peak Supporters is a community group of mountain bikers, runners, walkers, and residents passionate about Makara Peak and committed to regenerating its native forest. Regular volunteer work parties are central to how the bush and trails are kept in top shape for everyone to enjoy.
This volunteer opportunity involves turning up to weekend conservation and trail work parties at Makara Peak, where all tools, gloves, kai, and drinks are provided. No experience is needed and no registration is required. Just turn up and contribute however you can. Times and locations are posted on the Makara Peak Supporters Facebook page.
