Hutt City Council is dedicated to building connected and resilient communities across Lower Hutt. The Maungaraki Community Library is a valued neighbourhood resource, and volunteer support helps ensure it remains a welcoming and well-run space for everyone.
This volunteer opportunity involves supporting Hutt City Council Pou Tiaki staff to run the Community Library, including shelving, tidying, interacting with library customers (particularly children), and carrying out other library duties as needed. Shifts are available on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
