Newlands Resilience Group is working to prepare, connect, and support its community to face any challenge. Strong local leadership is central to this vision, and experienced mentors help grow the next generation of community leaders in the neighbourhood.
This volunteer opportunity involves mentoring a community leader in the Newlands, Paparangi, Woodridge, or Bellevue area over a structured six-month programme, including an orientation session, regular check-ins, and six mentoring sessions. The total time commitment is approximately 20 hours over six months. Mentors should have experience relevant to the mentee's development and be motivated by community outcomes.
