Te Hopai Trust Hospital has cared for aged and vulnerable people in Wellington since 1888, committed to the belief that those who cannot care for themselves deserve warmth, dignity, and joy. Music participation is a cherished and uplifting part of life for many residents.

This volunteer opportunity involves joining residents at Te Hopai Hospital in Newtown for a singing or music participation session, contributing your musicality (whether singing, playing an instrument, or simply leading a group sing-along) to create a joyful shared experience. Times and frequency are arranged with the organisation.

What you'll bring:
• Musical ability, confidence performing or leading a sing-along
• A warm, engaging, and inclusive manner with elderly residents
• Reliability for agreed session times

You might be a great fit if you are:
• Enthusiastic about music and its ability to lift people's spirits
• Patient and adaptable in a residential care setting
• Happy to respond to residents' musical preferences and requests

Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
