Te Hopai Trust Hospital has cared for the aged and needy in Wellington since its Charter in 1888, believing that those unable to care for themselves deserve compassionate, high-quality support. Music is a powerful source of joy, connection, and comfort for residents.
This volunteer opportunity involves coordinating regular music activities for residents at Te Hopai Hospital in Newtown, including organising concerts, musical performances, and group participation sessions. The Music Session Coordinator works with staff and external performers to ensure residents have access to enriching musical experiences. The commitment is approximately one to two hours per session, fortnightly.
