NGO Coalition Coordinator
Porirua
Death Without Debt is a national social movement dedicated to making dying affordable for all New Zealanders, so that the cost of a funeral does not add to the burden of grief. Building strong coalitions across the NGO sector is a key part of creating the systemic change needed to address funeral poverty.
This volunteer opportunity involves coordinating and energising a national NGO coalition by building and maintaining relationships with organisations such as Hospice and Citizens Advice Bureau, and supporting communications across the network. The volunteer will be confident, organised, and skilled in relationship-building, and the volunteer opportunity can be carried out flexibly from anywhere in New Zealand.
What you'll bring:
• Experience in coordination, communications, or relationship management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage own time
You might be a great fit if you are:
• Confident, proactive, and well-organised
• Passionate about social justice and affordability
• A natural connector who builds relationships with ease
Training Provided: Details to be confirmed with the organisation.
