New Zealand Film Collaborators is a charitable community production house that uses a community theatre-style model to make films with people, building an inclusive filmmaking village for people of all backgrounds and experience levels.

This is a flexible operational support pool completing clearly defined pieces of work across the organisation — designed for people who want to contribute practical skills without taking on responsibility for an entire organisational function. Tasks may include admin and data entry, formatting documents, updating records, meeting prep, research, event support, drafting comms for review, and completing defined Jira tasks, all coordinated via Slack.

What you'll bring:

  • Any mix of administration, research, writing, community engagement, events, spreadsheets or digital systems experience
  • Reliability, clear communication and a willingness to work collaboratively — more important than experience in every area

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • Happy working on clearly scoped, one-off or short-term tasks
  • Comfortable being matched to a coordinator for each piece of work, with someone reviewing what you complete

Note: volunteers won't be expected to make Board decisions, approve policy, or take on work outside their confirmed availability.

Time Commitment: Generally 1-3 hours per week; project-based or short-term contributions welcome.
