We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help promote our upcoming Wellington Film Sprint by putting up posters in high-visibility, high-foot-traffic locations around the city.

What you'll do:

Pick up a batch of posters from a central pickup point

Display posters in cafes, community organisations, and (with permission) local businesses around Wellington — think noticeboards, windows, and foyers

Always ask for and confirm consent from staff/owners before putting up a poster — never post without permission

Choose spots with strong visibility and foot traffic (busy cafes, community hubs, arts venues, libraries, etc.)

Take a quick photo of each poster in place (optional, for our records) and note which locations you've covered
Return any leftover posters or report back on distribution

Great for:

Anyone who's often out and about in Wellington and wants to help in a flexible, low-commitment way

Film lovers, students, or creatives keen to support local filmmaking

Someone looking for a quick microvolunteering task they can slot into their day

Time commitment:

A single session of roughly 1–2 hours to distribute a batch of posters — no ongoing commitment required, though you're welcome to help with future poster runs too.

No experience necessary — just a willingness to pound the pavement and chat to café/shop staff!
