Electrify the Capital is a major public expo at TSB Arena on Saturday 17 October, helping Wellington households and businesses discover practical opportunities to electrify. To encourage people to register for the Expo, registered visitors will have the opportunity to receive prizes through our Registration Rewards programme. We're looking for a Registration Rewards Coordinator to organise and manage prize collection on Expo day.

What's Involved
Before the Expo, you'll help prepare the prize list and records, establish a simple process for visitors to claim their prizes, and help recruit and brief any additional volunteers needed. On Expo day, you'll oversee the prize collection point, verify winning registration codes, make sure prizes are correctly recorded as they're collected, keep track of remaining prizes and complete an end-of-day reconciliation. The process itself will be established in advance — your role is to make sure it works smoothly and that winners have a positive experience.

What you'll bring
You'll be friendly, organised and accurate, and comfortable using a straightforward electronic or paper-based checking system. Good attention to detail is particularly important because you'll be responsible for keeping track of prizes as they're distributed.

You might be a great fit if...
You enjoy interacting with people but also like things to be well organised and properly recorded. You'll need to be comfortable staying focused during busy periods when several visitors may arrive to collect prizes at once.

Induction and Support
You'll receive a full briefing on the registration and prize process beforehand and will have support from the wider Expo team throughout the day.
