This volunteer opportunity will involve providing patient, step-by-step guidance so members can enjoy using their technology independently. Time commitment is flexible as it depends on when requests from members come in. Full training and ongoing support from the BLVNZ team provided, including specialised Alexa training.
 

What you'll bring:

• Comfort interacting one-on-one, typically in the member's home.

• Willingness to complete BLVNZ's registration and onboarding process as well as training in Human Guiding, disability awareness and more. 

You might be a great fit if you are:

- Friendly, patient, organised and reliable - Comfortable assisting people with low/no vision

- Have experience using or an interest in learning about assistive and adaptive technologies
