Conservation Volunteers NZ connects people who love nature with meaningful, hands-on conservation action across Aotearoa, empowering communities to take action for nature in their local area. Healthy native forests are vital to our ecosystems, wildlife, and future generations, and every young native tree protected makes a difference.

This volunteer opportunity is part of the Tree Rescue Restoration project in Wellington, where volunteers help care for young native trees through weeding, litter collection, and other practical restoration tasks. Sessions run from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm across multiple dates, and no prior experience is needed.
