Duties

Presbyterian Support Central supports older people and their whānau by providing care, connection and opportunities that enhance wellbeing and independence.

At Huntleigh Home in Karori, we are looking for a reliable volunteer driver to support transport and community access for an older resident.

The volunteer will drive an accessible vehicle to assist with transport to appointments, activities and outings. The vehicle is based at Huntleigh Home and is privately owned. Comprehensive insurance is provided for approved drivers over 25.

Special Skills/Personality

• Reliable driver with a full driver's licence
• Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
• Friendly, patient and comfortable supporting older people
• Good communication skills and a willingness to help others
• Ideally located in Karori, nearby suburbs or central Wellington due to travel considerations
