Duties:
VietKidsNZ is a community organisation supporting Vietnamese families in Wellington to stay connected to their language and culture. This volunteer opportunity is important because it helps young Vietnamese children build and maintain fluency in their first language, strengthening their connection to their heritage and community. As a Vietnamese Language Tutor, you'll support or lead tutoring sessions as part of our VietRead&Write classes, held every second Sunday from 9:30–10:30am. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Special Skills/Personality:

• Fluent in Vietnamese
• Comfortable and confident working with children
• Patient, warm, and encouraging teaching style
• Reliable and available every second Sunday
• Passionate about language and cultural retention
