Electrify the Capital is a major public expo being held at TSB Arena on Saturday 17 October, helping Wellington households and businesses discover practical ways to electrify, reduce energy costs and build a more resilient future.

We're looking for a Visitor Counting & Survey Coordinator to organise our visitor counting and exit survey programme. The information collected will help us understand who attended, what visitors thought of the Expo and what they intend to do afterwards.

What's Involved
You'll help finalise a short visitor survey, establish how visitors will be counted, prepare instructions for the team carrying out the surveys, and supervise the operation on Expo day. You'll also organise a short survey of exhibitors towards the end of the event. A separate Youth Volunteer Coordinator will recruit and look after the young people who will undertake much of the counting and surveying.

What you'll bring
You'll be organised, comfortable working with people and information, and able to turn a plan into a practical operation. Experience with surveys, research or data collection would be helpful but isn't essential.

You might be a great fit if...
You enjoy organising people and processes, care about getting reliable information, and are happy spending much of Expo day overseeing a small team rather than simply enjoying the event as a visitor.

Induction and Support
You'll be supported by the Expo organising team, including help with the survey, equipment and volunteer arrangements.
