Age Concern Wellington Region Trust is dedicated to upholding the rights, wellbeing, and dignity of older people across the Wellington region. Loneliness and isolation are among the greatest challenges facing older people in our communities, and a regular, friendly visit from a volunteer can make an enormous difference to someone's quality of life.

This volunteer opportunity involves visiting an older person in their home for approximately one hour each week to share conversation and companionship. Volunteers help ensure that older people in our community feel connected, valued, and supported.
