What's Involved
Coordinating and supporting BTTC's team of volunteer peer mentors — people with their own lived experience of mental distress and recovery — as they walk alongside others navigating the transition out of hospital. You'll help organise training, rosters and communication, and support the project's day-to-day running, including some administration and funding-related work.

What you'll bring
Experience coordinating, facilitating or organising people and projects, along with good communication skills and confidence with everyday tools like Word, Outlook, Excel and Canva. Own lived or living experience of mental distress and recovery would be an advantage, as would knowledge of peer support and the mental health sector.

You might be a great fit if...
You're patient, approachable and non-judgemental, enjoy being a sounding board for ideas, and want to help protect and grow a project built on hope, choice, mutual respect, reciprocity and self-determination.

Induction and Support
You'll be supported through training, supervision and clear expectations around safety, privacy and healthy boundaries, plus a police vet, like all BTTC volunteers.
