Duties:
New Zealand Red Cross (Rīpeka Whero Aotearoa) is a humanitarian organisation improving the lives of vulnerable people. Our shops sell pre-loved clothing and household items, providing affordable shopping, funding humanitarian work across Aotearoa and around the world, and supporting sustainability through recycling unwanted items.

At the Porirua shop (Semple Street), your tasks will include:

* Unpacking and sorting donated goods
* Greeting and serving customers with warmth
* Restocking and merchandising the shop floor

Special Skills: Great customer service skills and a welcoming manner. Reliability for four-hour shifts. A love of pre-loved goods and retail environments. Ministry of Justice character verification required.

Personality: Warm, energetic and customer-focused. A team player who enjoys a varied, hands-on retail environment.

Days, Hours: Shifts are four hours. We're currently recruiting for afternoons, 1pm to 5pm, every day, and mornings, 9:30am to 1:30pm, Monday, Friday and Saturday.

Training: On-the-job induction training will be provided. You'll need to follow Red Cross Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies, which will be advised during training.
