Walk Wellington is a volunteer-run not-for-profit with 25 years' experience guiding visitors and locals around the city. Sharing Wellington's stories, landscapes, and history through guided walks is at the heart of what the group does.
This volunteer opportunity involves leading guided walking tours of Wellington, sharing the stories of our city's past and present with groups of visitors and locals. Walk Wellington provides full training, route notes, and ongoing support. Guides are rostered to suit their availability, typically two to three hours per session.
What you'll bring:
• Good communication and storytelling skills
• Enthusiasm for Wellington's history, culture, and neighbourhoods
• Physical fitness for walking tours of the city
