Karori Youth Centre, now operated by YMCA / Y Central, is a welcoming drop-in space in Karori where rangatahi aged 11 to 18 can have fun, find belonging, and develop leadership and life skills after school. The centre is committed to providing a safe environment that supports the development and wellbeing of young people.

This volunteer opportunity involves joining the team as a Youth Leader, building positive relationships with young people, facilitating and joining in with activities such as table tennis, pool, art, sport, cooking, and board games, and helping create a safe and supportive environment where rangatahi can thrive. The centre is open Monday 3 to 6 pm (seniors), Wednesday 3 to 6 pm, and Friday 3 to 6 pm.
