Electrify the Capital is a major public expo at TSB Arena on Saturday 17 October, helping Wellington households and businesses discover the benefits and possibilities of electrification.

We want to involve a team of secondary school students or other young people in visitor counting and exit surveys, with the Expo making a donation to their school or parent organisation. We're looking for a Youth Volunteer Coordinator to bring that team together and look after them.

What's Involved
You'll approach suitable schools, youth groups or other organisations, recruit the young volunteers, liaise with their teacher or coordinator, help agree the donation arrangement and organise availability and rostering. On Expo day, you'll welcome the team, help with their briefing, make sure everyone knows what they're doing, arrange breaks and deal with practical or welfare issues. A separate Visitor Counting & Survey Coordinator will manage the actual survey and counting work, so your focus will be on the people.

What you'll bring
You'll be organised, communicate clearly and enjoy working with young people. Experience with schools, youth organisations or volunteer coordination would be particularly useful.
