The impetus behind this work is that better decisions will produce better outcomes, and that the best outcomes for community development in Aotearoa will include empowering communities to use the Coordinated Community and Disaster Resilience Model.
Our Mission:
Aotearoa Community Resilience Network Charitable Trust believe that community resilience is having the resources, social capital, communication, and competence so the community can thrive. We believe disaster resilience is being ready, able to respond to, and able to recover from a disaster. We also believe a community is more likely to be disaster resilient if it is community resilient.
