Our Mission:
We work towards our vision of New Zealanders from refugee backgrounds participating fully in life in Aotearoa New Zealand, through advocacy, research and community development activities.
ChangeMakers Resettlement Forum is a grassroots non-governmental organisation (NGO) walking alongside 18+ refugee background communities in the greater Wellington region (Aotearoa New Zealand).
Volunteer with us
Mentor former refugees in Lower Hutt to develop driving skills and gain their licence. Flexible hours, must be 21+ with full licence.
Take a woman from a refugee background for twice-weekly driving practice in Lower Hutt. Female volunteers required.
Take a woman from a refugee background for weekly driving practice in Porirua. Female volunteers required. Full licence needed.
Support a former refugee with two weekly one-hour driving sessions in Wellington over 16–20 weeks. Dual control car provided.
