The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. This mission is supported by a global network of support, workplace attire, and development tools for success. Dress for Success aims to change lives by offering career advancement, financial education, and a supportive community, enabling women to generate sustained improvement in all aspects of their lives.

Our Mission:

Dress For Success help people across the Wellington region build the skills and confidence they need to find employment and thrive in their careers. It does this by offering a range of programmes and workshops available to everyone who is looking for work or planning the next steps in their career.

Help fit out new Dress for Success Wellington CBD premises, including plasterboard walls and general construction. May–June 2026.

Sort, organise, and price donated clothing at the Yes for Success retail store. Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3 pm.

Mentoring & Advocacy
Weekly

Lead and mentor a team of volunteer marketers, developing strategies and overseeing campaigns and social media. Two mornings per week minimum.

Occasional / As required

Capture photos and videos at events for Dress for Success Wellington's newsletter and social media. Own professional equipment required.

Assist customers, handle cash, and promote programmes at the Dressed on The Terrace recycled clothing boutique. Weekday shifts available.
