We rescue good surplus food from businesses in the Greater Wellington Region, connecting nourishing kai with our partners who are supporting people across our communities.
Our Mission:
Kaibosh is the first dedicated food rescue charity of Aotearoa, New Zealand. We link the food industry with community groups that support people in need ensuring that quality surplus food reaches those who are struggling rather than being needlessly discarded. This benefits both our community and our environment.
Volunteer with us
Sort rescued food into packages for distribution to community organisations at Kaibosh in Lower Hutt. Mon/Tue/Thu, 1:30–3:30 pm.
