Our Mission:
Our name, Nuku Ora, represents movement, life, activity, and joy. It captures the outcome we seek to achieve - to enhance the hauora and wellbeing of individuals, whānau, and communities through physical activity.
At Nuku Ora, we empower individuals, whānau, and communities across Wellington to increase hauora through inclusive physical activity. We lead, guide, and facilitate accessible, inclusive, and appealing physical activity initiatives across Te Upoko o te Ika a Māui (The earliest known name for the Wellington region).
