Our Mission:
Oasis Cafe Community Hub is a café styled space for the Porirua East community, providing tea, coffee, snacks and free wifi in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer a loving cafe styled space for our community, where support is provided through simple acts of kindness, listening, practical advice, all while working collaboratively with other agencies.
Volunteer with us
Greet visitors warmly, spark conversation, and connect people to community programmes at Oasis Community Cafe in Porirua. Flexible hours.
Prepare food, set up the café space, and maintain clean kitchen and dining areas at Oasis Community Cafe in Porirua. Flexible hours.
Develop and coordinate community activities, workshops, and events at Oasis Community Cafe in Porirua. Flexible hours.
Develop a marketing plan and create digital content to raise awareness of Oasis Community Cafe in Porirua East. ~4 hours per week.
Handle emails, assist with events, and manage general admin at Oasis Community Cafe in Porirua. ~3–4 hours per week.
Be the face of Oasis Community Cafe on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays, providing warm hospitality. 11 am – 1 pm. Barista training available.
