Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols
Our mission is to patrol the streets, report suspicious activities to the authorities, and act as additional eyes and ears for law enforcement. We help deter crime, increase public awareness, support safety of our community and participate in various community projects.
Our Mission:
Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols (PPCP) are made up of volunteers who desire to keep Porirua City a safe place to live for all communities and whānau.
Volunteer with us
Manage and grow social media for Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols, creating engaging content and attracting new volunteers.
Establish and manage daytime community safety patrols in Porirua, recruiting patrollers, creating rosters, and liaising with police. 5–10 hrs/week.
Organise monthly Komiti meetings, take minutes, manage correspondence, and participate in patrols for Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols.
Patrol Porirua streets monthly for 3–4 hours, reporting suspicious activities and building positive community safety presence.
