Our Community Ministries centres around New Zealand provide individuals and families with food parcels, budgeting advice, life skills and parenting courses, social work, youth development, and transitional housing.
Volunteer with us
Sort, pack, and distribute food parcels and essential items at Salvation Army Porirua Community Ministries welfare space. Flexible hours.
Drive for Salvation Army Porirua Community Ministries, collecting and delivering essentials and transporting clients. Own vehicle required.
Provide driving support for Salvation Army Porirua, collecting and delivering essential items and transporting clients. Own vehicle, flexible hours.
Answer calls at the Porirua Samaritans centre, providing confidential, non-judgmental listening support. One 3-hour shift weekly, full training.
