Te Omanga Hospice
Te Omanga Hospice provides free specialist nursing, medical care and family support to help patients living with terminal or life limiting illnesses.
Our Mission:
Since 1979, Te Omanga Hospice has provided quality Palliative Care services for those living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley community. Our care is provided by our interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists and specially trained volunteers, through community home care and our special in-patient unit.
Volunteer with us
Work in Te Omanga Hospice’s retail shop in Lower Hutt, sorting donations, serving customers, and maintaining the shop floor. Mon–Sat shifts.
Work in the Te Omanga retail shop in Wainuiomata, helping with customer service, sorting, and pricing donations. Mon–Sat shifts available.
Work in the Te Omanga retail shop in Upper Hutt, sorting donations, assisting customers, and maintaining the shop. Mon–Sat shifts available.
Assist with housekeeping at Te Omanga Hospice inpatient unit in Lower Hutt, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for patients.
Support the kitchen team at Te Omanga Hospice in Lower Hutt with meal preparation, serving, and dishwashing. Flexible shifts.
