Te Omanga Hospice provides free specialist nursing, medical care and family support to help patients living with terminal or life limiting illnesses.
Our Mission:
Since 1979, Te Omanga Hospice has provided quality Palliative Care services for those living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley community. Our care is provided by our interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists and specially trained volunteers, through community home care and our special in-patient unit.
Volunteer with us
Work in Te Omanga Hospice's Station Village Shop in Lower Hutt, sorting donations, serving customers, and maintaining the shop floor across various shifts
Te Omanga Hospice are needing volunteers to work with a happy team to clean the inpatient unit, in a manner not intrusive to the patients and families in the hospice. Rostered one morning a week between the hours of 9am-11am.
