Fancy getting hands-on experience with a real CRM system while helping power the work of Wellington's volunteering sector? As our CRM Database Volunteer, you'll get to know Infoodle inside and out — practical, transferable admin and systems skills that look great on any CV, all while directly supporting the charities and volunteers who keep our region moving.

You'll be right at the heart of Volunteer Wellington, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the huge range of local organisations we work with — from food rescue to disability services to environmental groups — and playing a genuine part in connecting volunteers with the causes they care about.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approving forms so members receive expressions of interest for volunteer opportunities and other notifications, and managing the shared inbox, including responding to system and email notifications.
  • Monitoring volunteer opportunities and liaising with members and applicants on queries as they arise (e.g. requests for more information on applicants).
  • Data entry, clean-up, and quality improvement — removing duplicates, tidying records as needed, and responding to email errors.
  • Supporting and creating documentation for processes and workflows in Infoodle (e.g. expressions of interest, website forms).
  • Updating mailing lists and group lists in Infoodle for our newsletter and other workflows.

Skills Required
No CRM or data experience needed — we'll teach you everything. What matters most is being keen to get stuck into a new system and solid general admin skills.

Contact
You'll work closely with, and be supported directly by, Zak (Systems and Support Coordinator) and the other volunteer Wellington staff and volunteers.

Time Commitment
A weekday morning shift, once a week, for around 3 hours — Tuesday mornings work particularly well.
