Upper Hutt Repair Cafe has helped the community repair household items — from small electricals to furniture — since 2019, with skilled volunteers promoting sustainability, reuse and recycling.

This volunteer opportunity involves keeping the organising group running smoothly: preparing meeting agendas, organising and sending meeting notices, attending committee meetings and taking accurate minutes, distributing minutes and recording decisions, maintaining records and general correspondence, and supporting planning for the AGM. It's a monthly online meeting, with an expectation of at least 10 hours per month.
