We are a provider based in Lower Hutt, offering support and assistance to families in the Wellington and Hutt Valley regions. Our devoted team is wholeheartedly dedicated to fostering a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families. Wesley Community Action is a creative change organisation that works in communities and with whānau across all ages and stages within the wider Wellington region. We run services, design new initiatives and support and partner with people and groups doing great work to sustain whānau and communities to live lives that they value. Our mahi is based at seven sites in the greater Wellington region.

YMCA Central Inc is a not for profit organisation, committed to strengthening families and youth development. Our facilities are a place for families. From babies to grandparents and everyone in between we offer a wide range of services with something for everyone in the family.

The Brain Garden Trust is a registered charity who provide mindfulness-based support to children, and their families, living with a long-term health or neurodivergent condition.We believe children, their parents and their families should have access to resources and skills to help them develop coping strategies that enable self-acceptance, confidence, happiness and lead a fulfilled life.

Strengthening Families provides a way for families to get coordinated access to services – the aim is to offer help before a whānau or family has serious problems requiring intensive or statutory intervention. Promoting cooperation between community organisations, social services and government agencies, keeping the whānau or family at the heart of the process. Available for any whānau when more than 1 community support organisation or government service is required – it is free and 100% voluntary. The person or people helping your whānau or family could be a: budget advisor, truancy officer, social worker, medical specialist, counsellor, teacher, other support worker.

Shakti is a leading national provider of culturally specialist domestic/family violence intervention and prevention services for Asian, African and Middle Eastern women victims and their children in Aotearoa New Zealand
