Our Charter in 1888 was to provide much needed quality care to the aged and needy. Our core values of respect and compassion remain unchanged. Te Hopai provides quality care in a well maintained residence with excellent facilities, larger than average rooms, sunny pleasant gardens and a continuum of care from residential to hospital and dementia. In an aged care market dominated by the impersonality of large corporations and the departure of the charitable sector, Te Hopai stands out as a provider of intimate level care for the aged and the needy, making no distinction between private and fully subsidised residents and taking pride in the high standards maintained throughout.

We are a not-for-profit community mental health support service that provides peer support, advocacy and education to people who live or work in the Hutt Valley, and who self identify as having experience of mental distress and/or illness.

New Zealand Blood Service (NZBS) was formed in 1998 integrating all hospital-based transfusion services into a single national organisation. Since 2001 NZBS has managed the recruitment of blood donors, and the collection, processing and accreditation of all donated blood.

The Wellington Multiple Sclerorsis Society is a not-for-profit organisation, devoted to supporting through our three Community Advisors, those with MS, their carers and their families and whanau.

MIX is a mental health community day service in the Hutt Valley offering programmes in art and wellbeing. We support people who have experienced or are experiencing mental health distress in the Hutt Valley. MIX participants are supported for who they are, to be themselves, and to reach their full potential.

Working nationwide, we are specialists in trauma recovery for Kiwi men. Clients come to us for a range of issues they are struggling with. Our clinical team addresses the unresolved trauma driving those issues and any problematic behaviours they may also be experiencing.
