Swimming Coach
Coach the Special Olympics Swimming programme at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities. Weekly on Sunday afternoons.
Coach the Special Olympics Basketball team in the Hutt Valley, supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities. Weekly during term time.
Accompany an older person on a weekly one-hour walk in Wellington, providing transport to a suitable walking area when needed.
Visit residents with intellectual disabilities at Clouston Park in Porirua, sharing conversation, activities, and friendly company. Flexible hours.
Accompany and encourage a person living with a brain injury at the gym, supporting their fitness goals and inclusion. Flexible timing.
Provide operational support at the Salvation Army Tawa Family Store, sorting donations and organising back-of-house. Flexible hours.
Assist with the Wesley Community Action Day Programme in the Hutt Valley, supporting participants in activities and providing a welcoming presence.
