Lower Hutt Womens Centre
The centre acts as a community resource centre for Women, Teenage Girls and Children, working towards and with, education, empowerment, the promotion of mental health, healing and recovery for all women and families in the community.
Our Mission:
Lower Hutt Women’s Centre provides support, encouragement and education in a safe environment for women. A primary aim of the Centre is to provide a good environment for communication and relationship development. All women from all cultures and ages are welcome at the centre. The drop-in facilities provided are a meeting place for women, a time out space and a friendly environment for a chat and support.
Volunteer with us
Chair monthly Board meetings, support the Centre Manager, and guide strategic direction for Lower Hutt Women’s Centre. ~15 hours per month.
Join the Lower Hutt Women’s Centre Board, contributing governance and strategic direction. 5–10 hours per month including monthly meetings.
